Catching Memories
My name is Julia Spencer. I started taking photos because I wanted to keep a photo record of my growing family. I take photos that I would be proud to display in photo books, scrapbooks, albums and hanging on my walls. As my skills grew, so did my hunger to learn more about photography and catching the light. I’ve learned so much along the way about the technical side of photography and put my heart into catching memories with it. I take photos of other people because I love making people smile.
My photography style is very relaxed. I want to give you, my customer, a natural, relaxed, candid, artistic photographic session. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable or your kids uncomfortable, so there are no real canned poses, each session is different. I want to catch your family’s personality. I want to see who you really are through my lens. So, if you like to let the kids run free catching bubbles, I’ll catch that, or if you want to play dress up, I’ll catch that, or if you want to have a formal pose, I’ll catch that. Catching Memories is about giving you photos that you’d love to hang on the wall, and give out to family, and display proudly in your albums. Catching Memories is about catching the story about you.
